Class family photos -worth being on the Home Page! And, some wise advice for all of us from Steve & Joel...

More Photos at the Gallery!!! And...a link that every ex-Princetonian can really appreciate -Check out the conversations & join this Facebook Group! http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_24983976545

(ADVICE STARTS HERE)

This is my philosophy and it's worked pretty well so far.  Enjoy!!

One day I had lunch with some friends. Bob, a short, balding golfer type about 80 years old, came along with them---all in all, a pleasant bunch.

When the menus were presented, we ordered salads, sandwiches, and soups, except for Bob who said, "Ice Cream, please. Two scoops, chocolate.

I wasn't sure my ears heard right, and the others were aghast. "Along with heated apple pie," Bob added, completely unabashed.

We tried to act quite nonchalant, as if people did this all the time.. But when our orders were brought out, I didn't enjoy mine.

I couldn't take my eyes off Bob as his pie a-la-mode went down. The other guys couldn’t believe it. They ate their lunches silently and grinned.

The next time I went out to eat, I called and invited Bob. I lunched on white meat tuna. He ordered a parfait.

I smiled. He asked if he amused me.

I answered, "Yes, you do, but also you confuse me.

How come you order rich desserts, while I feel I must be sensible? He laughed and said "I'm tasting all that is Possible.

I try to eat the food I need, and do the things I should. But life's so short, my friend, I hate missing out on something good.

This year I realized how old I was (He grinned) I haven't been this old before."

"So, before I die, I've got to try those things that for years I had ignored.

I haven't smelled all the flowers yet. There are too many trout streams I haven’t fished. There's more fudge sundaes to wolf down and kites to be flown overhead.

There are too many golf courses I haven’t played. I've not laughed at all the jokes. I've missed a lot of sporting events and potato chips and cokes.

I want to wade again in water and feel ocean spray on my face. I want to sit in a country church once more and thank God for His grace.

I want peanut butter every day spread on my morning toast. I want un-timed long distance calls to the folks I love the most.

I haven't cried at all the movies yet, or walked in the morning rain. I need to feel wind on my face. I want to be in love again.

So, if I choose to have dessert, instead of having dinner, then should I die before night fall, I'd say I died a winner, because I missed out on nothing. I filled my heart's desire. I had that final chocolate mousse before my life expired.."

With that, I called the waitress over.. "I've changed my mind, " I said. "I want what he is having, only add some more whipped cream!"

This is my gift to you - We need an annual Friends Day! If you get this twice, then you have more than one friend. Live well, love much & laugh often - Be happy.

Be mindful that happiness isn't based on possessions, power, or prestige, but on relationships with people we like and respect. Remember that while money talks, CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM SINGS!

WOW! What a great time!

And who can ever forget waking up to the sound of gunfire early Saturday morning???? Being shot by blowgun darts? Driving a classic Morris Minor around the grounds? Drinking Bloody Mary's at all hours of the day?
And what a great looking crew of classmates! Are we going on 60? or 30? Who cares? We were all 18 again for a few days...Check out the first round of pictures at the GALLERY.
Thanks again, Steve, Joel, Mike, Curry, George, John, Linda, and the incredible Ken Foulk for your great eye at capturing all the moments on your camera.

Please get your checks mailed to Steve as soon as possible. All the Catering, Tents & Tables, etc. need to have deposits and locked in head counts confirmed by MAY 4th. Please get your checks in!
We're only three weeks away from "D" day!  No more hesitation... There may not be another chance to visit old friends and reminisce the great times we all had from 1966 to 1970.  This is "Last Call" to share those stories, confess those secrets & proudly toast the special people that made our "Class of 1970" one of the best in PHS history!
It will be an incredible weekend - An Event Not To Be Missed...and, (most likely) Old Friends Never Again Reunited on this scale.
It's time to commit! We need your confirmation, and checks, in Now. How can anyone put a price on once in a lifetime memories and rekindled friendships? Think of the stories...crazy, fun times -relive it all one last time!

Imagine...

Over a hundred...maybe two hundred, near sixty year-olds - acting like eighteen year-olds again.
(Pure Heaven for us...pure Hell for your kids.)
This is your opportunity to totally Flashback -reconnect, reignite and forget about the present for three incredible days! Anyone who attends will never be the same.

Steve has the right ideas, the right plan and the greatest spread, (near New Hope/Washington's Crossing), to make it happen. From beer and bands, to bonfires and bbq - anything goes this May!
No one allowed to act your age -we're all 18 again!
And remember... What happens at the Morris compound, stays at the Morris compound. Can't Wait!

Look for the "E-VITE" coming your way soon. And tell all the classmates you know -
PHS Class of '70 is Finally having it's well-deserved 40th reunion...better late than never!

The "committee" looks forward to seeing Everyone, and be sure to post all comments here and pix to the gallery.   See you soon - Wayne "Dusty" Schmidt
